The C6 is a match made in heaven for the newly designed STS remote twin turbo system.
With the addition of STS's new remote twin turbo system, C6 owners can increase horsepower over 50% while still maintaining complete drivability and a smooth power band. STS's patented remote-turbo technology replaces the stock mufflers with custom-sized Garrett turbos and TiAL wastegates. The entire system is tucked underneath the Vette leaving no visible signs of modifications. Unlike traditional turbo systems, no underhood fabricating is required and no heat generating parts are located underhood. The entire system can be installed in half a day's time and removed even quicker.
Exhaust gases travel through the catalytic converters into the turbos spooling up boost that is routed back to the engine via HPC coated intake piping. The pipes are routed through the rocker panels, and into a custom designed air-to-air intercooler for reliable performance on pump gasoline. In-house testing at STS yielded over 530 horsepower at the wheels at 7-psi of boost.
