These Koni FSD shock absorbers combine the benefits of performance and comfort into one package. The FSD (Frequency Selective Dampening) shocks are firm for control over long bumps and corners, but soft for comfort over expansions joints and rough roads. The Koni FSD shock absorbers have an extra valve that controls oil flow parallel to the piston assembly, giving the vehicle a smooth ride. At low frequencies, the FSD shocks are able to make a significantly greater amount of force than conventional shocks. This controls bouncing, body roll, and brake drive. During high frequencies, the FSD shocks generate dramatically lower forces for a smoother ride over rough roads.
