"The design of the K&N Air Charger Intake System had to meet and exceed the demands of a motor that makes 500 horsepower," said K&N Performance Kit manager Bert Heck. "In order to do this, the K&N Air Filter included in this intake system is made from carbon fiber and very large. We also put an air foil in the large intake tube to provide extra strength and to help streamline the incoming air once it passes through the K&N Air Filter. Our K&N Air Intake System provides less restriction which results in more power."
