Benefits of Baer rotors are better cooling and reduced brake fade, besides good looks! The basic package consists of 1 piece front and 1 piece rear rotors. Upgrades to the basic package are: 2 piece front rotor and 1 piece rear rotors, or 2 piece front and 2 piece 14 inch rear rotors for the ultimate upgrade. The 1pc front / 1pc rear and 2pc front / 1pc rears are a direct OE replacement package. The 2pc 14 inch rear rotor kit may require slight modification if aftermarket wheels are used.
Baer's 1 piece rotors feature and employ severe duty, curved, directional vane (vented), slotted, crossdrilled and zinc washed rotors, for brilliant, race quality, function, and appearance.
Baer's 2 piece rotors offer more of the same, but feature lightweight aluminum hats and are the world's first direct OE replacement rotors to deliver real and measurable performance gains. By eliminating the weight at the center of the stock iron rotor, Baer is able to cast the new rotor with more mass in the "fire path", where the pads contact the rotor, allowing substantially more heat to be absorbed into the rotor. Balancing and heat-treating, coupled with the increased pumping efficiency of directional vanes (vents), ensure that EradiSpeed™ rotors deliver substantial performance benefits. Something that OE or cosmetically altered OE rotors simply can't do.
